Signature Scent

We agree with you, Coco.  Wearing perfume speaks to who you are, and can boost your mood.  Light florals, fruity citrus, deep woody notes, whatever you prefer.  Scent is also a very powerful memory trigger.  We were chatting about how certain perfumes remind us of our friends.  A sorority sister of ours has worn Chanel Chance since college, and we think of her every time we smell the fragrance.  It's her signature scent.

Having a signature scent is exactly that... yours!  Finding the perfect balance for the right amount of perfume is key as well.  You want to be memorable, but not overbearing.  We are fans of the layering technique: using body lotion and other products in addition to your perfume, all with the same scent.  Boxed gift sets that department stores often sell are great for this, since they usually come with lotion or body wash in addition to the fragrance.  We also suggest giving your pulse points (wrists and neck) as well as clothing a light spritz.  Accidentally spray too much?  Use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball to clean up the mess.

Our Signature Scents...
Ali:  MAC Turquatic, YSL Parisienne, Versace Bright Crystal
Karen:  Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, Thierry Mugler Angel, Chanel Coco Noir
Sakura:   Marc Jacobs Daisy, Pink Sugar

P.S. a lot of fragrances now come in a convenient roll-on travel sizes, perfect for your purse and mid-day fragrance refreshers!
