Yup, it's true- we've been wearing bobby pins the wrong way! We just assumed that the flat side goes on the bottom because it is longer than the wavy side, but apparently the wavy side is designed to hold and grip your hair in place while the flat side helps push it down into the grooves... who knew?!
Try it out... it actually stays!
