How To Get Rid of Pores
Okay, well the truth is, you CAN'T get rid of your pores. However, you can reduce the look of them. Pores in general are common on everyone's face so there is no way of getting rid of them. Now, there is a difference between large pores and clogged pores and often times we tend to mix those two up, which essentially is misguiding ourselves. Clogged pores are when your pores have build up in it, usually from not cleaning your face regularly. Large pores are when your pores are really visible. This is typically caused by oily skin as it makes your pores stand out more. Especially as you get older your hormones change and more oil can develop on your face causing your pores to appear sometimes out of nowhere! But, have no fear because we know just the products to reduce the look of your pores. First, it's all about moisturizing your face day and night. Work with an esthetician to pick the perfect one according to your skin. We like Skinceuticals Daily Moisturizer for the day and SkinMedica Retinol Complex for at night (pair with sunscreen). With both products Co Founder, Karen, has seen a major difference in her skin on her face. Second, face peels at night are awesome and can help with reducing the look of your pores. Lastly, microdermabrasions monthly are a great way to help keep your face fresh.
Keep in mind that your face is often times the first body part people see. Your face is your spokesperson so take care of it. Facial skincare usually has a high price tag attached to it, but don't let that deter you from properly caring for your face. Trust us when we say: It's worth it!

Do y'all recommend the Clarisonic Mia? Or honestly, there's many other cheaper models that do the same thing, but I've always wanted something like that to start out with and then start using good moisturizers! My husbie & I have gotten into bike riding and my face is paying for it with all the sweat and dirt! :( xo Leigh
ReplyDeleteWe definitely recommend it! Co Founder, Karen has the Mia 2! We recommend getting a soft bristled brush in addition to the brush that comes with the Clarisonic. Xo
